Looks like I missed a day. Oh well. I worked in the morning yesterday - and now I'm done with working until Friday! Yay! Days off! I went out last night and hung out with my friends until about 2am. It was great!
Saturday night was really boring at work, too. I had nothing to do, it was really slow. Luckily, Tanya (the other girl who works evenings there) showed up, and we talked for a while. We were swapping stories about annoying customers. She was telling me about some guy who was sitting in the laundry carts we have in there. This is sorta how the conversation went:
Tanya: Do you know how much those carts cost?
Sitting guy: No
Tanya: They're about $500 each. Do you have $500?
Sitting guy: No
Tanya: Then get out of the cart.
Tanya rocks.
Anyway, over the course of the weekend, I found time to watch episode 15 of Angelic Layer. And, also, episode 18 finished downloading. So I had to watch episode 16. I *had* to. I couldn't let the downloading get after of me, after all.
Episode 15. My opinion: great! Finally the big fight! Two experienced Angels battling it out! SHIRAHME vs SUZUKA! The "Ice Machine" Jounouji Sai, and the "Miracle Kindergartener" Kobayashi Hatako! How exciting! How thrilling! Who will come out on top - our familiar friend 'Light Speed' Suzuka, or the mysterious but deadly strong Shirahime? Oh, the suspense! And the battle was well done, too. I wondered how two experienced Angels would fight... It was all decided in *one* - count 'em, one - hit. Totally cool! An enthusiastic thumbs up from me!
Episode 16. My opinion: awesome! The last battle of the tournament - this decides which of these two will go on to the next tournament, and which will be held back. On one hand, Angel Shirahime and Deus "Ice Machine" Jounouji Sai. On the other, Angel Hikaru and Deus "Miracle Newcomer" Suzuhara Misaki. And we finally find out what this myserious weakness of Hikaru's might be! At last! And the fight... SO good! I loved it! They were so closely matched, too... only that weakness stood between them. It was great! And the end of the fight was just... awesome. Two thumbs up from me!
