I really would rather not go to work... but I guess that's life. I need the money. Anyway, my check will be there and I'll be able to put it in the bank on the way home.
That's something, I guess.
The wedding wasn't too bad. It was a short ceremony, and the reception was kind of okay. I sat by my aunt and asked her how things are going at my old high school, since she works there. Apparently there's a new principal and vice-principal. Hopefully that means changes for the better; I didn't like the old ones.
The men in the wedding party were all in kilts, and they're all fairly decent-looking men, so that was nice. It was cool to see. I guess Chad (the groom) was Scottish. I didn't know that, actually. He's also cute and nice, and he and Nicole (my cousin) get along really well. So that's good.
And that was yesterday. I was invited to have thanksgiving dinner (yes, it's thanksgiving over here) with Jeremy's family, but he's having an aunt and cousins over as well, so I'm going to pass. I don't even really know how to talk to my *own* extended family, much less his.
So I'll be doing nothing tonight... and that's always nice.
