Digital Panic Mix
Okay, so I ordered this last week, and it's here! Hehe... it's pretty cute - some of the stories have artwork I don't really like, but there are a few that are really good, too.
The picture I was looking for isn't in this one. I'll probably order the other Digital Panic Mix volume later on, to see if it's there. If it's not in that one, I give up.
Oh well.
The first comic that really caught my eye was a very cute Daisuke and Ken centric piece that appears to focus on their families - or rather, older siblings. I'm not too sure what's going on - it looks like it jumps around a bit. But the art's pretty neat.
The second one I noticed was a two-page piece with kinda weird art (I didn't really like it) that centered around a conversation between Hirokazu and Kenta. I think it was something about Takato and Lee, and at the end Kenta calls Hirokazu a playboy. I don't think Hirokazu minds, as he is boasting about how cool he is. Ehehe...
Third that snatched up my attention... A humorous comic where Yamaki apparently develops an unholy interest in Takato. (Ew...) However, Takato spends all his time with Lee, who appears to be quite protective of him. Again, I can't really tell what's going on, but in the end Yamaki approaches them, and Takato calls him Ojiisan (old man), which upsets him just a *little*. I think Lee gets Takato to give them a moment, and then ends up leaving Yamaki tied up in the alleyway where he tried to corner them. It amused me very, very much, despite the disturbing-ness.
The last one that really stood out for me was only one page long, but it was called "Kenta-kun Gomen Manga". It centered (obviously) around Kenta, and apparently had a lot to do with Hirokazu, since there was one block of text where Kenta is thinking "Baka, baka, Hirokazu no baka!" Again, not sure what's going on, but Kenta appears to go a little crazy. I like the pic of him looking all determined/psycho, though. Very cool.
So far, I have scanned all of those but the crazy stalker Yamaki/protective Lee one. I'll scan that one later, though. Anyone interested in one of the others, just let me know.
