Whipped (Digimon) - This one involves Ken, and his whip from when he was the Kaizer. The 'whipped' part does not refer to someone being physically smacked around with the whip. It refers to the more slang-ish meaning for whipped.

Dessert Wars (Digimon) - Wars. With dessert. Insightful, hm?

Dream Deferred (Digimon) - When I described the basic plot of this one to Herongale, she suggested this title, coming from a poem. It fit pretty well, so I went with it.

When in Rome (Weiss Kreuz) - Do like the Romans do! This one just worked well.

In the Simplest Terms (+Anima) - It's a misunderstanding over something someone said. The title just hit me from behind.

Summer Storm (Hikaru no Go) - I was looking for an analogy for the fight, and this just came into my head. It fits, though.

I haven't written any in 3 years, so I really can't answer. Well, I guess I could go back and just name some that I did back then.

Quicksand: Obvious title, since the plot involved one of the characters stumbling into quicksand. Very angsty.

Resolve: It was about a character coming to terms with the death of his family, so this seemed an appropriate and succinct title.

Surfacing: Can you tell that I like one-word titles? I guess that the key scene here involved characters being underwater, so that's why I chose the title. This fic was really, really bad.

Unspoken: I changed the title of this one a few times but eventually just went with this. One of the characters suffered through a terrible ordeal years ago and never told a soul about it, until now. Later a bunch of other fics with the same title popped up on ff.net, most of which were total trash, and they buried mine several results down on the search page. This fic was never finished.

Today Is The Day - Just about a character taking initiative, and stepping out and doing something he was afraid to do.

That's funny how you mention "A Dream Deferred". We just learned about Langston Hughes in the 1920s chapter in US history. And I probably butchered his name but that's better than trying to get me to spell the Harlem...Renn...ai...sannce.........forget it.

...And I've been hearing that term "Whipped" SO much lately o.o;;;
