New fanfiction! Yay! I am happy, what can I say? There were two new fics for me to read last night and this morning! One was a new chapter in an Orphen fic, and another was the latest fic in a Yami no Matsuei arc that I'd never noticed before. And both were damn good!

Is it just me, or is the following snippet amusing? It's from Keeper of the Flame, by Amethyst Maiden:
“C’mon, Hisoka, don’t be like that. Fuda are your friend.”
“I thought pie was my friend.”
“No, Hisoka. Pie /wanted/ to be your friend, but you wouldn’t let it, so now it’s feeling neglected. Accept the fuda, or you’ll end up old and alone.”
I don't know. I found that amusing. I'm weird, though, so maybe I'm the only one. Oh well. At least *I'm* amused.
