I want to thank everyone who commented with nice and comforting thoughts about my grandfather. Honestly, I don't know what to think about right now - it's way too easy to carry on with life as usual. But I guess that's what you do, isn't it?

The funeral is on Tuesday. The obituary was in the paper today. I feel okay, and mom seems to be doing well. She went in to work today - to keep herself busy, she said.

I remember when my other grandfather died, my dad went out for a long walk. Of course, he had that awful disease where he couldn't move or talk very well, so once again we knew it was coming. I knew my father's dad even less than I knew my mother's.

It's strange. I never knew my mom's mother - my real grandmother died before my parents even got married, so I only know my grandfather's second wife. And even her, I don't know very well. I didn't know my dad's father very well because you couldn't get to know him in that state. I know my dad's mother VERY well - I'm sure that I'd be crying if she passed away.

It seems so strange to me, though.

In any case, I got my comic stuff done yesterday, and some writing, and a good chunk of homework. I had belly dancing and I saw Jeremy for a while. It was a pretty good day.

Meh... weird...
