Female Anime Characters Meme

List 10 Anime/Manga Females that you like, or at least think are tolerable. Then write something about them-your first impression, something you like, something you DON'T like, whatever.
1. Luna, Uninhabited Planet Survive - This is a character with a lot of determination, who never shies back from what needs to be done. She's one of the reasons I liked this anime so much; I admire her strength.
2. Izumi, Fullmetal Alchemist - Mostly, I like her attitude. Strong and serious, with a lot of weakness but a generally tough spirit.
3. Arashi, X - Not that this character is really strong, but I found that I felt for her. Not up in the favorites, but definitely a female I can tolerate.
4. Lina, Slayers - I have this thing about females who can kick ass, okay? It's always refreshing when they're doing the protecting rather than needing to be protected. And she's funny, too.
5. Yuko, XXXholic - All right, yes, she is very cool. Equal parts fun and playful and sadistic and serious.
6. Annissina, Kyou Kara Maou - Mad scientists are ALWAYS fun. Period.
7. Senritsu, Hunter X Hunter - I love her ability. It's the coolest thing ever. I wish she was in the anime more.
8. Ruki, Digimon Tamers - She's tough, she's smart, she's cool... What's not to like? The fact that she has a soft side I doubt she wants anyone to know about doesn't hurt her, either.
9. Sally, Gundam Wing - Mostly because she's independant; she fights for what she believes in without allowing anyone to bring her down.
10. Ramius, Gundam Seed - Her struggle to be a good leader despite the fact that her compassion got the better of her was appealing, actually. She had a lot of strength and weakness to her.
