I'm tired enough this morning to be serious. It's been a while since I wrote a totally serious entry in this journal that wasn't a rant. I'm usually fairly comedic when I'm being random. I try to be, anyway...

I love this song. It's soothing.

Songs like this really make me aware of why I'm writing Seeds of Love. It's like... soft. Romantic. Sweet. I'm pouring all my sappy and romantic energy into this fic, and leaving the comedy and action for other fics. It's entirely romance. Everything about the fic. There's no side plot with a different category... no undertones of any other genre... Romance. The fic is about how the romance between Youji and Aya, even though it was a long time in the past, sparks the romance between Ken and Omi. I won't have another genre to post it under when I do put it up. Just romance.

I like that. It's something I've never really done before with a series fic. Even Dream Deferred had other things going on of minor importance in the background. I may have overlooked something, but I don't think I have. Seeds of Love will be a first.

Maybe that's why I'm still so intent on it. I absolutely adore that fic. I think it's going to turn out to be my masterpiece.

I really have to write the duty and love fic too... I think it'll turn out to catch my attention like this one, if I let it.

But, for anyone who will read Seeds of Love... this fic has got a large chunk of *me* in it. I think comments on this one will mean more than comments on any other fic I've written. It's becoming really special to me.

I'm a hopeless romantic. I can't hide it.

Dude, me too. I am *such* a hopeless romantic at times, only I'm usually embarrassed to post my mushy stories (which is why all the stuff on my site is just plain silly). I haven't finished any of them, either . . . You know what? I love that song too. In fact, it's actually on my extremely long list of Yohji/Aya songs. I suppose it works both ways. Eheh ^_^;; You take one couple, I take the other!

Hehe... Actually, I think 'Building a Mystery' is more of a YoujixAya song than a KenxOmi song, but the tone of it is romantic enough to fit anything sweet and sappy. ^^

Most of my fics are silly too, but if I'm in the mood for sweet and romantic, I'll write that. :) And with Ken and Omi, sweet and romantic comes fairly easy.

Maybe that's why I like them so much. ^^
