I actually couldn't stand the anime. The manga, IMO, was much better. Sae's twice as twisted, for one, and in the end I kind of liked her, enough that I bought the three-part "Sae's Story" sequel (THAT ending, though, sucked).

It's all over-the-top either way, though. lol
