(no subject)
I have an exam this morning. Erk. I'm a little nervous, but since I memorized the Geologic Time Scale, I know I'll get at least 20 marks. That's something, anyway. I'm leaving for school early today so that I can study.
Just to calm myself down a little, I typed out some little funny stuff for that 'Thief and Detective' manga I read. I actually wrote these at work (was bored). Anyway, I cut them out so no one has to read them unless they feel like looking at my stupid humor. Here:
Thief and Detective: Ten Minute Chapter Summaries
(I think the scanlations came from the Chinese version, so I'm not sure if the names are right, but... oh well)
Chapter 1
MARTIN: Hi there. I'm the flirty, confident thief.
HUGO: I'm the cute but clueless detective.
*Martin pulls off a daring robbery and flies out the window like BATMAN! He is then stopped by Hugo*
HUGO: Okay... I'll give you the obligatory 30 seconds to make a clean getaway.
MARTIN: I'll use those 30 seconds to make a pass at you instead.
HUGO: What th - ? *thinks* That must be thief code for attempting to escape.
*HUGO proceeds to fall off a cliff and is saved by Martin*
Chapter 2
AENEAS: Hi, I'm the cute little brother with the computer that lets me hack into anywhere!
WILE: I'm the token all-knowing friend.
*they have a brief hook-up moment just because*
HUGO: Darn it, how'd we get locked in a vault together?
MARTIN: I'm going to avoid that question and try to cop a feel.
*fanserving kiss scene*
Chapter 3
*The Flashback Chapter*
MARTIN: Life sucks.
HUGO: Hey you! Stop right there!
MARTIN: I changed my mind. Oh baby!
*Martin interferes with an arrest, and an armed criminal escapes*
MARTIN: Oh well. I think I'll make it my mission in life to boink that cop.
Chapter 4
HUGO: Oh my GOD! He loves me! (two chapters after the confession)
*Hugo is hit by a car while contemplating this and somehow comes out of the hospital with only an injured leg*
MARTIN: *enters his house through the window* Time for some ACTION!
HUGO: No. Get lost.
MARTIN: Okay then. *leaves*
Chapter 5
MARTIN: I'm going to rob an empty, abandoned building.
HUGO: Oh no! I'd better go all alone to stop you!
MARTIN: I lied. I'm here to take advantage of you.
HUGO: No! Never! Not in a... oh, all right, go ahead.
*fanserving kiss scene*
MARTIN: I'm bored with being a thief. I'm going to join the police force.
WILE: Welcome aboard! Here's a key to our secret files.
HUGO: o_O;;
Chapter 6
CHAPTER: Hi. I haven't been scanned and translated yet. But you'll know when I have been, because Aphrael will rant about it in her LJ.
APHRAEL: Damn straight!

I have too much time on my hands.
