Work is the worst thing in the world - I never, EVER want to go back to that horrible place! (except when I work tonight) My evening totally blew! First, I came to work and found that THREE people had dropped off laundry for me to do. Plus, there was a quilt in one dryer, a sleeping bag in the other, and a sleeping bag in a washing machine that had to be dried. Oh yeah, and besides that there was fire order clothing that had to be dried and put on hangers. I had to fold the quilt and the sleeping bags and bag them, and fold everybody's laundry before the night was over. That AND my usual cleaning up stuff. Who do they think I am? Super Laundry Lady?
Then I found out that Ross, the maintenance guy, had been working, and he was using both of the buckets I normally use to hold my soapy water while I wipe everything down. So I had to use a huge clunking one that was awkward and inconvenient. Then I got my laundry all started, and everything was cool. THEN the washing machine breaks down and Ross has to come in and fix it. He couldn't get there for an hour, and when he did I barely had enough time to finish the coveralls that were in there.
I also accidentally transfered the wrong person's clothing into the dryer in the laundromat, and even though they were really nice about it, I felt horrible. Then someone came in there at the last possible minute to do laundry and got in my way the rest of the night. Then somebody leaves all their laundry in there and I have to put it in bags before I can mop. And THEN they phone in, at five minutes to nine, and say 'Did I leave my laundry there?' And they have the NERVE to ask if *I* can dry it for them! FORGET IT!
I finished everything about 20 minutes late and was dead tired. My parents forgot about me, so I had to phone home in order to get a ride. Then I went for a glass of water and dropped it. Of course the glass shattered all over the kitchen floor.
That was about the size of things last night. Everything that could go wrong *did*.
It was incredibly frustrating.
I seriously hope tonight is a better night, because I never want to go through something like that again. It had to be one of the worst experiences of my life.
On a higer note, I managed to watch episode 14 of Magic Knight Rayearth before work yesterday. My opinion: okay. It wasn't great, but it wasn't bad. Besides, it focussed on Hikaru and she is my favorite character so far. I'm just *waiting* for them to get up to that mountain in the sky, though. It's sure taking long enough. I might even miss when they do, because I can't find episode 15 anywhere. I'm downloading episode 16 instead. Anyway, for episode 14 I give a mild thumbs up.
Hopefully I can watch more anime today. That'd probably make me feel better.
