I had to work yesterday, but I spent a lot of time with my tapes. I still have one more tape (that's about 5 and a half hours) of Digimon season one to watch, but I'm just about done with my japanese tapes. I watched the four 02 episodes I got, and two of the four season one eps.

So I finally saw the infamous hitchhiking scene of episode 30. Taichi doing his interpretive dance when thumbing a ride didn't work was pretty amusing - as was Koushiro and Jyou accidentally hailing a taxi. And Yamato... of course, as soon as he stepped up and stuck his thumb out, someone pulled over. But good grief - that chick had to be at least twice his age! And I didn't understand what she was saying, but it sure *sounded* like she was hitting on him...

Hehe.

And of course the guy Sora and Mimi finally get to give them a ride ends up accidentally pushing poor Koushiro off a bridge... the jerk...

Speaking of Kou, the next ep on the tape focusses on him - yay! I was watching the previews for it... and noticed another cut from the dub. DemiDevimon - or whatever his name is in the original - actually shoots his attack at a defenseless Koushiro before his digimon shows up to rescue him.

My poor Koushiro!

Grr... Now I'm more annoyed than I was with Tai when he was beating on Kou in episode 49 and in the second movie. I'm going to have to stop randomly smacking Tai upside the head and start plotting torture for DemiDevimon.

Other than that... I also finished Ken's part for that collab. I'll get back into writing soon, guys. My tapes are just momentarily distracting me.

But they're so *fun*! It's worth it.

I'll be out all day today... hopefully I'll find some anime or manga, though! That'd make it all worth it. Hehehe... and it had better be worth spending a day away from my tapes.

^_^ That hitchiking scene is THE BEST! Are these tapes the Japanese version? 0o; I wanna see that part with Yamato being picked up by the chick. XD But the dub is still funny "WELL AT LEAST MY CAT'S NOT STUCK IN A TREE!"

And I remember after not watching Digimon for a long time, I turn on the TV one day just in time to see that guy push Koushiro off a bridge. I was like "HOLY CRAP! THAT KID'S GONNA DIE!" ^o^;;

0o;; KILL DEMIDEVIMON! I never knew that happened! I also still remember watching episode 49 and hitting the TV with a pillow. XD I luff Taichi, but he needs to stop using Izzy as a punching bag. << *now wants to see the uncut demdevimon thing* I learn something new everyday. 0o;

These tapes are indeed the japanese version - though not with subtitles. ^_^ I ordered them from Megchan. That scene was very funny - poor Yamato. *grin* He looked so freaked. It's so much better uncut. Although that line from the dub is one of my favorites. ^_^

Poor Kou... everyone picks on him... :( I'd beat 'em all up if I could. And I didn't know DemiDevimon used his attack on Koushiro either, until I saw that preview. I'll be watching the episode tonight sometime. ^_^

As for episode 49... if and when my DVDs get here, I'll have that one in japanese as well. I can't wait! Even though Taichi's a jerk... but I still love him. ^_^ I just love Koushiro more.
