I have a new DVD player, and my DVDs work on it!!!
MWAHAHAHAHA!!!
Yeah... I went up to the Future Shop and wrote down every single model they had for sale and then came home to look at a site I got from![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
kasra_c (thank you so much for that, by the way!) to see whether they had hacks to make them region free. Well... one did, and it was a simple one. So I went back up and got them to let me test it out, and it worked! And then I brought it home and it still worked!
So I watched movies one and two on DVD, and they look awesome! DVD quality Digimon movies... yay... It also has all the commercials that were shown for both movies, and on movie two you can set it so there are japanese captions while it plays. (in hiragana and kanji, of course)
I've also watched two episodes from my season two volume twelve DVD - the BlackWarGreymon vs WarGreymon one, and the one with the history between Iori's father and Oikawa. Kinda boring eps, but they're really good quality. Plus, it has the clean opening and closing themes which is kinda cool. My favorite closing video is the second 02 one, so I'm glad to have that, of course.
The other extra thing it has is a Digimon listing - not a complete one; just a part of it - where you can click on the picture and it'll show you a brief clip of when they came in on the show and give you their stats. All the Digimon belonging to the six 02 Chosen Children are at the top, and if you click on them, you'll be able to view those same things on their various evolutions. It's pretty cool!
I'm also enjoying the episodes, even though they weren't what I'd originally wanted. Hehe... oh well. Still worth it!
Last night, I went to that Music in the Park thing with V, Jo, Adam, and Jer. It was a lot of fun - we were playing Cheat with Adam's two decks of cards, and that went amusingly. Then we went to Pizza Hut for some dinner before Jeremy had to go to work and the rest of us headed for home.
It was a great night.
And seemed even greater because now I have a DVD player that plays my DVDs!
