I was talking with Lady Dragon last night, and guess what she told me? I guess some fan or another found all the Digimon 02 Japanese DVDs at a convention and bought them, so now she's encoding them all, and there's a group that's fansubbing them!

Digimon 02! Fansubbed!

I guess they have five episodes done, episode six is being timed, and episode seven is being translated. And since LD gets first dibs because she's friends with someone on the team, she's going to send them to me on CDs! YAY!

And all during our conversation she was taunting me with proper translations that were ignored in the dub... gah... I can't wait to see the real version!

The only better thing would be if someone subbed the first season.

I get to see 02 with subtitles! Wai! I'm very, very excited about this. Mwaha! Soon I will know what they're saying! What they're *really* saying! I can't wait!

Mouuu, you have to share this!!!! ;O; Or at least... I don't know, will they be releasing them for file sharing? Offering CD copies for sale? I so seriously and badly want copies!

Since they are a digital fansub team, these will likely be made available online before too long. So yeah, you'll probably be able to download them eventually. *grin* I think she mentioned something about mIRC, but I'm not too sure about that... I'll try and keep you guys posted if and when I find out more. :D

But if it seems to be taking too long or you can't get them, I can easily copy onto more CDs and send some out. ^_^ So no worries... if I get them, you can be sure that you will get them as well.

BTW, I was told that you'll need the most up to date DivX codex to play them. And Windows Media Player, of course. :) Just so you know.

*_* Yay! Well, I don't have mIRC, but I might get it if it's the only way to get the fansubs. And then, if you'd be willing to make CD copies of it, I'm willing to trade with anime I have if there's any you want :3

I'll let you know when I get them. :D And when I have more information. (maybe you'll be able to download some eps before I get my hands on them, anyway) And actually, to make a correction, she told me IRC, not mIRC - although I don't know if there's a difference. ^_^;

I'd send them to you without needing any exchange, but if you have any anime I'm interested in (and don't have yet) I might take you up on that trade offer. *grin*
