Exams are over for now! I am very, very content. I finished watching all the Digimon movies yesterday! The last four movies had pretty good quality, though the subtitles on movie five were really hard to see.
I adore movie four. Most people already know that. Mm... Daisuke and Ken... yay! And Koushiro looks cute. Yes, I like it muchly.
Movie five, I once thought was boring, but I really like it now - if only for the scenery. I wish I could go visit Okinawa. Even if it is really hot there. The ocean... my god. It was gorgeous. And Takato's only comment is "this is going to be a long trip." Bah. I wanted to strangle him for a moment there. I would *love* to be there in his place.
But it was a good movie.
Movie six... I remember now why I changed my mind about halfway through and decided it wasn't that great. One, Ruki having to be rescued. As my favorite Digimon female - and the only one who can really kick ass - I expected better from her. Second, Takato doing the rescuing. Margh.
Just... what I really didn't like were those couple of scenes where it looks like they're trying to make Ruki/Takato seem real - but Takato's really too gay to be straight.
I do like how he went from calling Jenrya "Lee-kun" in movie five to "Jen" in movie six. That's an evolved friendship - it makes me want to see the episodes that illustrate it.
... damnit. I'm becoming a Tamers fan.
Matrix Evolution is actually really cool - although the androgenous nudity is disturbing somehow. And I liked the fact that Ryo made an appearance. If I were to like any pairing for Ruki, it'd be Ryo/Ruki - because she really needs someone who won't cave every time she snaps at him. But she's cool on her own, too. No need to pair her off at all.
And then movie seven. It wasn't great. I never liked it all that much, even though I really do loveFrontier Takuya. But it's not all that bad, either. The disney-style music at the end is kind of annoying. Oh well.
Don't wanna work today... but I guess I need the money. I'm in a good mood anyway.

As for the others... movie four is a sequel to movie two (with the same villain) that involves the 02 characters as well this time. Movies five and six are Tamers movies, and movie seven is a Frontier movie. But they're good, too. ^_^
