Not a bad day yesterday. I didn't have to work or anything, which is good. I got to read, had a bag of chips, and had episodes to watch on my computer. Excellent.

Anyway, I watched episode 23 of Angelic Layer. My opinion: awesome! Misaki vs Ojirou! Hikaru vs Wizard! Sweet sweet SWEET! I was SO looking forward to this fight! It was the awesome-est of the awesome! Which doesn't make much sense, but that's okay. Anyway, the fight was great. I also liked a little history on Ojirou. (I *knew* his first love was Misaki's mother!) And his confession at the end was so sweet! It was great. I also really liked that the fight was decided in that one last blow. That's always good. It was a great match. Two thumbs up, and rightfully earned!

The only other thing I did yesterday that was worth mentioning is going to the movies. Jeremy took me to see Austen Powers 3. It was kinda funny, actually. I didn't really like the first two, but this one was okay. I wouldn't really give it a thumbs up or thumbs down, but it was average in my opinion. It had its moments, anyway.

Bleh. I have nothing else to write about right now. Hmm...

Okay, here's a rant. I *love* Ken and Omi together, right? So my opinion's kinda biased here, but... I don't see why so many people like Omi with Nagi. I mean, they've never interacted. And, when you think about it, their personalities are way different. I mean, Omi's sweet and polite and generally happy. He lets his emotions rule him most of the time. Nagi, on the other hand, is closed off and kind of cold at times. He doesn't show emotion for the most part, and he seems kind of disdainful of others. Omi's quite sensitive, and I think that sort of thing would hurt him. Plus, Nagi considers himself 'above' normal people - just like the rest of Schwartz. It's... I don't know. I don't think I could ever really like that couple, it just doesn't seem to have much chemistry. Of course, that could be because they've never interacted, and they don't hate each other or like each other in any way... there's just nothing there.

Well, whatever. I *do*, on the other hand, like Nagi and Tot. That's a very cute couple. Tot's childishness brings out a gentler side to Nagi, which I liked a lot. It also made him seem more human - which is usually a good thing. She seems like the only person who could do that, and I think it's because of that blend of her childish behavior and the fact that she is an adult - which shows at some points. Lady Cosmos pointed out that Nagi's childhood wasn't happy, and Tot sort of provides a way for him to reclaim it. I think that's an interesting point.

I like Nagi. He's cute and cool and generally interesting. He's also a genius - with the codename Prodigy, how could he be anything else? I wouldn't have minded if he'd been given a bigger role in the series.

Anyway, that's about all I've got to write about here.

Heehee...NagixOmi reasoning? Try RanKen. I found some fo the funniest reasons for a fan liking RanKen. I'm going to post them later...once I get back from playing...if I ever do *stares out window* I think people might also put them together because their opposites. And a lot of people believe in the opposites attract thing. But, that ideal *I don't believe* doesn't deal with complete opposites. There's no way two people who are completely opposite could get together.

And that's what Nagi and Omi are. They represent two sides of the coin, if you will. Nagi's the darker side of Omi and Omi is the brighter side of Nagi. Of course, this is my reasoning. It might not make sense to other people ^_~

Quatre and Dorothy is another thing I don't understand. Unlike the other male-female pairings in Gundam Wing, they don't interact except to fight each other! Why do people think they belong together? Maybe because they're the only unpaired characters of either gender . . . unless you count Trowa as the person he's paired with. (And I know most fangirls do. ~_^)

Lady Cosmos' statement that Nagi is the dark side of Omi and Omi is the bright side of Nagi made me think Kamui-Fuuma big-time. Now I have a mental picture of Nagi tying Ouka to a cross and stabbing her to death with a shinken . . . I guess that means that Ken is Subaru in this case.
