I finally got around to reading "Regina's Song". It's by my favorite author - can't believe it took me so long. Anyway, it was awesome, even though I saw the ending coming from the beginning. But it was nothing less than I'd expect from David Eddings. Excellent.

And then I went and saw Return of the King again last night, and the awesome-ness was continued. I adore that movie. In my opinion, the movies are a lot better than the books - and I've been reading the books steadily since I was eleven, so that's a big compliment.

And... now I'm going to hide before I'm lynched by rabid LOTR purists.

I hope it wins Best Picture, though... The theater was still packed tonight, so there's also hope that it'll make more money than Titanic.

We'll see, I guess.

Eddings is my favorite author, as you might have noticed. I own all of his fantasy series. (all four, plus Redemption and the first one in his new series) Regina's Song is different, but you can definitely recongize his style of writing, and the book is awesome.

Yeah, Polgara was a cool character. ^^ I liked pretty much all of the characters in that series, though.
