I am in a much better mood today. I love the music that's playing... X has such great music...
I worked last night. It wasn't too bad - everyone was out of there by eight. I remembered to bring a book this time. Yay! So I immersed myself in David Eddings while waiting until nine so I could do my cash-out. I had to wash some really dirty coveralls, but that wasn't too bad.
I went to see XXX the night before last. Bleh. I did not like it. The beginning showed some minor promise, but it was a very stupid movie. I'm probably one of the few who will say this, but I dislike Vin Deisel. I'm not sure if that's how you spell his name. I don't really care either. This is the first time I've seen him in a movie, and I was not impressed.
On the other hand, I love Bond. Maybe it's the smooth, sauve thing. I really like that. Plus the fact that he never seems to get his suit wrinkled or torn.
I'm back into David Eddings - again. I love that writer! My favorite series ever is The Belgariad/Mallorean. I can't choose between those two - and one is the sequel to the other, so it's all basically the same thing, right? Those characters are the best - I get so into the books when I read them. I can't even pick a favorite character, they're all just so cool.
Eddings rocks.
Anyway, I watched episode 18 of X. Oh my god, that was so sad! I can't believe... Inuki... Wah! I was actually seriously crying - that was just incredibly sad. For some reason, it's more upsetting than anything else I've seen on that show... awwww... but the end of the episode was so good! Yay! Except for the fact that Yuzuriha still doesn't know that Kusanagi is one of the seven angels. Eep. That's not going to make her any happier when she finds out. I like those two, I'm kinda scared to see how that turns out. I know it's going to end in tragedy somehow, I'm just not sure how yet. So sad... Two thumbs up for the episode. I really liked it.
I started on the Nagi-centric fic I wanted to write. I'm not sure if it'll ever go anywhere, but right now, it interests me, and that's the important thing.
