One of my offline friends (Venessa, actually) is into Lord of the Rings slash. She's still into her old love, Gundam Wing yaoi, but she also has this new interest. It's kind of funny, actually. I'm not very much into the Lord of the Rings thing - mostly because my favorite character is Aragorn, and I've loved the Aragorn/Arwen romance since I was eleven. I don't want to read het, but I do want to stay loyal to them.
However, Boromir rocks. I kinda like what V's into, because if I wasn't so loyal, I would probably very much like the idea of Aragorn and Boromir.
Ah well.
Hey, there's always the hobbits. Hobbits are fun.
Anyway, I'm hoping to get back into Weiss Kreuz fanfiction at the moment. I'm trying to work out some kinks by writing that Nagi-centric piece that's been swimming around in my head. Then hopefully I'll get to the half-dozen other ideas I've had.
I don't want to lose this obsession, actually. I'm really enjoying it.
Maybe I should try that third 'Movie Madness' fic...
Hmm...
Well, it's a possibility. In the meantime, I'll just write whatever I seem to be in the mood for. I'm thinking duty/love right now. If I can finish part one of that, I'll consider it a major accomplishment and celebrate. Then we'll see about When in Rome.
I've got lots to think about before school starts. I'd really like to get some stuff done before then, because my time's going to be severely minimized when I get to that point.
