Yesterday actually went pretty well, despite some frustration. I managed to get my search page and 'add to cart' page finished. I just have to make my shopping cart and get everything organized now. I'm going to be heading to the labs in a bit to spend my day off working on that. It's due tomorrow, so I don't have much choice, I guess.

But I think I can get it done.

Also, I went looking for Hikaru no Go stuff on ebay, and found the entire series on DVD plus all three specials for under $50 US. Is that not a good deal? And the guy has seven copies to sell, too.

I sent in a cancellation for my order on Discount Anime DVD. I mean, it's *more* there for half the series. Since my item's pre-ordered, I think they should be able to cancel it before it ships without any problems.

As soon as they do, I am running over to ebay and ordering that set instead.

One small problem: they only deliver to the US. I sent in an inquiry asking if they'd make an exception for Canada, but if not, I've got a friend I trust who'll have the DVDs shipped to her and then she'll send them on to me.

It's a round-about way of doing things, but that's okay.

Anyway, I'm off to get my schoolwork finished.

Damn, that's a *great* deal. Especially considering that I think I paid $75 for the whole series wackysubbed, *without* the specials.

And, of course, fangirl that I am, I will inevitably buy the whole series all over again when it's inevitably released on commercial DVDs.

If it comes out soon enough that I'm still in the 'MY GOD, I LOVE THIS SERIES!' phase, I'll probably try to get my hands on a DVD or two from the commercial release as well. Just to see how they do with the dub.

And yeah, I was going to buy the wackysubs (I think the store had the whole series for about what you payed, but I couldn't afford that, so I just went with the second half) but these ones are a much, much better deal.

The stuff that's on ebay is probably pirated, though. Be careful!
