Well... I didn't get my DVDs, but I also didn't watch any more of RahXephon. I was thinking, actually... For some reason, I don't think my DVDs will be here until at least Friday. So I want to save the RahXephon episodes for a bit.

I'll probably watch a couple today before I go to work, though.

Tomorrow I'll have a study session at one-thirty for my exam on Saturday, and then belly-dancing.

And Friday I work again.

Then the exam on Saturday.

So, yeah, I'll be keeping busy. And then, of course, next Wednesday is my next exam.

Fun times.

I want to write Hikaru no Go fanfiction, but I can't seem to decide what I want to write. I think it would be hard to do any kind of AU for the show, so I'm sticking with canon right now to be safe.

I guess we'll see what happens.

An idea I kicked around with friends awhile back but never used is a fic set about 10 years after the end of the series timeline where Hikaru and Akira are contending for major titles and how that affects their relationship. Ultimately, I see Akira winning the Meijin title (plus most of his father's other old titles) and Hikaru winning the Honinbou title (since he is, after all, the direct heir of Shuusaku.)

I'm toying with a couple of ideas right now, but I'm not sure if I want to write either or both of them. One is pretty silly (what can I say? I write humor) and one is more serious and introspective. I've started both, but I'm not sure which - if either - I really want to work on.

I'd really like to do more of a series fic... but I don't have any ideas, really. That's the problem with working in canon - it's hard to think of something original. ^_^;; At least for me.

Yours sounds like a good idea too. ^^ I'd love to read it if you ever got around to writing it.
