Well, yesterday went well. The performance was fun, although it seemed to have been extremely short after it was over. Heh. My parents took me out for lunch afterward, and then I managed to get a nice chunk of writing done as well.
V and I went to see 'The Day After Tomorrow'. It was actually really good! I went in with no real expectations, and it paid off! Well... the storyline was a little unbelievable, but it's the kind of thing you like to see in a movie. Very entertaining.
The special effects were *awesome*! I could've sat there and watched disasters happen all over the world for two hours, and been perfectly entertained. And actually, the fact of the disasters happening was reasonably well explained. Of course, there's always the person in power who doesn't believe it's true until it's too late.
Nice to know that if global warming ever caused a violent change in climate, we'd be totally screwed up here in Canada. There was a point where they drew a line on a map and basically said that everyone north of the line was doomed.
Well, that kind of sucks. I'd be dead.
The Mexican officials closing the border was priceless. For once, people are not being allowed IN to Mexico. Isn't *that* an interesting switch?
Anyway, it was very good.

As such, we have decided to move to the middle of Australia.
