I got my VCDs to work! And I can put three episodes per VCD now, too... So now I have episode 60 of Hikaru no Go on VCD, plus the first eight episodes of Digimon 02. I'll put 9 and 10 on a disk with 11 when it comes out. (I know, it's been months already... but I'm still waiting for it!)

Hooray! I'm happy now! I can watch subtitled Digimon 02 on my DVD player... excellent. Of course, I have to watch all the episodes again - that's just *required*. I've been through four so far.

I might burn some music videos out, too. That'd be fun... I'll think about it. I'm also thinking about burning some Angelic Layer, since my wackysubs for that are pretty terrible.

We'll see, I guess. I just bought another pack of 50 CD-Rs, so I'll have lots of room for experimentation.

I just have to buy some cases...

I was thinking last night... You know how in fanfiction it always seems to be the girl who is after some guy who is just not interested and clearly gay? I think it'd be interesting if it were the other way around for once. It almost makes me want to write a fanfic where either Takeru or Daisuke is determined to make Hikari love him and she is a lesbian and clearly belongs with Miyako or someone.

It's something to think about, anyway.

That would be interesting. :) There's nowhere near enough shoujo ai in Digimon. I say if the muse bites for it, go for it :)

Actually, there is a fic that *sort of* has that plotline - it's called 'Mrs. You and Me' by El Juno, and I really love it.

But I was thinking more of something from the girl's POV. So often in fanfiction, our fav boys are plagued by the fear of coming out, of being rejected, and/or of the girl who just won't leave well enough alone. It'd be interesting to write a female perspective with the same sort of issues in mind.

Just a thought. ;) Dunno if I ever will; we'll see.

I would absolutely love to see a fanfic like that... but I guess that's not really surprising, is it? ^^; I have seen it before, but not enough for it to matter.

I know, I've seen it too, but it's usually a little side thing in a yaoi fic. ^^; And that's not what I meant at all.

I'd be very surprised if no one had *ever* done this. Lots of boys like Hikari. It's the most obvious thing in the world to write a fic where she only wants girls.

... Or maybe it's only obvious to me.

Actually, the story I was thinking of didn't have any other pairings.... it had a plot instead ^^; And that made it really something else than a depressing lot of yaoi fics.

Personally, I always found that "obvious" around Rika, being about as stereotypical lesbian as you can get without making her a complete butch. It just keeps surprising me how many bad het clich鳠they can use with her, but how you never see her being a lesbian as a yaoi subplot.
