So yesterday, I burned three episodes of Angelic Layer, one episode of X, and a bunch of opening themes and music videos. It was fun.

It was also really hot yesterday. Sheesh. It's still only June, and I felt like I was melting for most of the day. It was hard to get to sleep, too.

There are two big fires burning now, although they are not in our area. There's an evacuation in place in Lilloet - hopefully people don't lose their homes this year. My sister was called to go fight that fire, and she will be gone for two weeks.

She was very happy. This means she'll be making money instead of sitting around the house being bored.

I hope all goes well there. Forest fires are always bad.

The only footage of Angelic Layer that I've seen was in a AMV that I walked in on during a screening an Anime Central this spring. It looked cool, plus Play Magazine put it in their top 25 for the year (somewhere around #16 or #17, I think).

Angelic Layer is an awesome anime. :)

I've seen a bunch of music videos for the series, but the one I like best is 'Farewell to the Starry Sky', which has spoilers for the last few episodes. But that means footage from the best fight scenes.

It was really good. ^^ I would recommend the series, too - it's probably my favorite Clamp anime.
