Well, yesterday was Jo's birthday, so went out for dinner. That was fun - especially seeing Jen again, and having Sarah there for a bit. Then we ended up spending the night at Adam's place, so I got about four hours of sleep. Good times.

Yeah, so, I intend to go back to bed for a while after writing this.

Also, we had an anime club meeting yesterday. Not many people were there, so we did spend a good chunk of time just chatting and listening to japanese music. That was fun. Then we watched Love Hina, Naruto, Inu Yasha, Rurouni Kenshin, and D.N.Angel. The last was my contribution. Yay!

Also, I enjoyed episode three of Naruto. Those who have seen it will understand why. It amused me to no end.

I was also thinking a bit about the various seasons of Digimon... I noticed that each season has an angst-magnet - by which I mean a person who carries most of the angst present in the series. In season one, it's Yamato with his anti-social attitude and brother complex. Season two, Ken with the mixed emotions about his brother's death. Season four had Kouichi and the finding out that he had a twin brother at ten years old.

But in season three, there's a bit of a difference, because the major angst magnet is Juri. Which is unexpected - I mean, look at her at the beginning of the series. When you think about it, what happens to her is terrible.

It's something to think about, anyway. When I'm not half-asleep. I'll probably read this over later and wonder what the hell was going through my mind.

Hi, i was reading your post and thought the concept of a angst magnet character in each season was interesting....it's really true...i don't know...i just thought i'd drop you a friendly line letting you know that i've thought about the same thing...though, if you ask me, i'd say that every character has a good deal of lovely angst surrounding them...gosh, and i'm sorry about your f.n Aphrael membership getting deleted...or whatever.that major sucks. and you know, it sucks for me too!! i love your fiction and just a week earlier, another of my favorite authors got reported...and now you too!! this really really sucks!! That's 2 in one week...this is madness...but i'll keep track of you with your other penname...oh, and update some of your pokemon and digimon fiction. it's been, like, months since you've written some digimon....and i can't even fathom how long it's been since you've written pokemon...oh well. i'm more interested in you writing some more digimon at the moment!! lol! so, anyway! keep up the good work and i hope you update soon! OH! you said you've watched D.N.Angel? Totally great series that is! i've seen the whole series! write some ficiton on that!! there are great yaoi and non-yoai pairings that can be explored there!! i'd really enjoy if you did! but, whatever floats your boat! i hope i've managed to make you smile with this friendly letter of me doing nothing but rambling....ohh...i dn't really like summer... to hot....lol! keep up the good work!!

Lately I've been writing Hikaru no Go. If I ever get inspired to write Digimon and/or Pokemon maybe I will. Unfortunately, I don't feel like it now.

D.N.Angel is a good anime, and the manga is even better, but it doesn't look like I'll be writing fanfiction for that show either.

Be careful how you say it, hm? I can be touchy when it comes to people trying to tell me what to write. 'I really would like to see you write more Digimon' or 'Is there any way you're going to do more Pokemon fics?' sound okay. 'Write some fiction on that' sounds like a demand, and I don't respond well to those. ;)

In any case, I'm flattered that you enjoy my stories. :D That's always nice to hear.
