We have an assignment in Networking, as of yesterday. It's due next week. Just a short program written in C and executed on the CS machine at the school via Secure Shell.

We're learning C! Something *useful*.

Thank god.

Anyway, other than that, I got a phone call from V... It reminded me of how much I miss her. How many days until next Saturday? It's going to be an awesome day - I can't wait!

And then Christmas... Christmas will be fun.

Also, I finally watched episode 49 of FMA.

Okay. Either there's a translation mix-up, or Dante is batshit, or the writers decided that the series doesn't need to make sense any more now that it's this close to the end.

I mean... the hell? Ed and Al were in love with Rose? Was this happening onscreen? Did I miss something?

I got that Dante wanted to make Ed fall for Rose so that she could take over Rose's body and Hohenheim's son would be in love with her. That makes sense. But assuming they already are in love with this girl they've met all of... twice? (once in Al's case) I think that crazy perfume is starting to mess with Dante's head.

The early 20th century London stuff with Hohenheim and short-haired Ed confused the hell out of me, too, but I guess they intended that. Still, they'd better do something cool with it, because as of right now I'm not sure if I approve.

Also, the ballroom scene was very creepy and fun. Dazed Ed dancing with hypnotized Rose... I was reminded of Legend. Very neat. And of course the fight with Dante, where she spouts off nonsense about not being human and trying to crush Ed with her bad-person propaganda. Heh.

I almost sort of felt sorry for Gluttony. Almost. But not quite.

I wonder who's going to die in the next episode. Because it looks like *someone* will die. I could be wrong, though. I know a lot of people are predicting that Al will die before the end of the series, but I don't know if I agree with that...

Anyway, out of the people I *don't* want to see die, here's my list.

Who I think will probably die: Roy, Hawkeye, Hohenheim
Who I think might possibly die: Roy's subordinates, Armstrong, Al, the Tringham brothers, Izumi
Who I think probably won't die: Ed

Watch me be completely wrong now - Ed will die, and everyone else will live.
