Well, it was quite a weekend! I had tons of fun in Vancouver, especially at Les Miserables! My god, it was awesome! It was three hours long, but it seemed so much shorter... I could've sat there and watched for a lot longer. Damn, what a great musical.
I seriously hope I'll get a chance to see it again some time. It was absolutely wonderful.
Our hotel was pretty good, too. We were staying at the Delta, which had very nice rooms - and we were on the 19th floor. Yeah, I'm a geek, I thought it was incredibly cool. There was a decent view of the city from up there. It was a lot of fun.
And yesterday, I got to go shopping. I went back to the Crystal Mall, to Sakura Media and Evertoys for some more anime stuff. There was a lot there. I debated with things like a Gundam Seed special with wackysubs, the Hikaru no Go character CD with the very attractive picture of Hikaru, Akira, Waya, and Isumi on the front, the Kyou Kara Maou soundtrack, and - well - soundtracks for just about any anime I could think of. It eventually came down to Gundam Seed OST 3 vs Gundam Wing OST 1, and I decided on GW, because 1) I think it's a better series, 2) I know the music better, and 3) it was five dollars cheaper. Actually, it was only $10 total. I seem to have gotten into a good habit of finding well-priced Gundam Wing merchandise.
And it turned out to be a good call, too. I found all three Gundam Seed soundtracks available for download on Box Torrents, but none of the GW soundtracks.
I'll have to buy more GW CDs if and when I'm back in Vancouver.
Other than that, I picked up some FMA stuff. An action figure of Edward, a keychain of chibi Alphonse with a bird on his head, a tin case with Roy and Ed on the cover that came with a mini-notepad decorated with pictures from the anime, and some stickers.
So, yeah, a pretty successful trip.
The down side? I've gone four days now with only about 200-300 words of NaNo written.

I hope they do make one for Les Miserables. Because I would love to be able to see it again and again.
And, I sent you an email with my address. Sorry I didn't tell you earlier.
