To everyone who knew Nicol was my favorite character and didn't bother to warn me about what I just found out is coming: bah! Go ahead and let me love the little guy until my heart gets broken, why don't you?

It's not fair, darn it all! I may just never forgive the writers of this series. They're mean, mean people.

And I'm not speaking to Kira right now. So there.

I just realized this means Nicol isn't in Gundam Seed Destiny! WAH!

I'm gonna cry.

I'm sorry! I didn't want to spoil it! I actually held out for the rest of the 50 episodes, convinced that like any good gundam pilot he'd come back to life. I even had a whole fanfic plotted out to bring my poor boy back to life.

*sob* I think Nichol's death was responsible for turning me to the Dark Side of Het. (Except Yzak and Dearka, who are so fucking in the version of Gundam Seed in my head.)

*sniffles* I don't know if I'll ever forgive this series for that. It's just cruel and mean and... well. Yeah. Not fair. Not fair at all.

Well... I was hoping this one wouldn't be obsession material, and it looks like this might take care of that for me. I had to go upstairs and watch part of episode 38 of Gundam Wing to make myself feel better.

Poor Nicol... I love him, he doesn't deserve to die!

I think Nichol's death (and obvious non-resurrection) is a good deal of the reason why I have very little interest in Gundam Seed Destiny. Well, that, and the first four episodes dragged ass, so I'm not so excited about watching the next four. I don't know. Nichol was the reason I really got into Seed, and I admit I felt a bit betrayed when they killed him off.

That much said, I have a Nichol AMV I need to make. Just have to wait for the domestic dvds to catch up with that part of the series...

I feel betrayed now, and I haven't even seen his death scene yet. Grr... meanies. How could they kill him off? That's so... so... so evil!
