Descendants of Darkness: Tarot Curse DVD

Hey... Has anyone else watched the "Fun Facts Video" in the Descendants of Darkness: Tarot Curse DVD? I thought it was very funny.

First of all, the explanation about Freud seemed very, very... odd. But so very appropriate, considering the number of times they put "PHALLIC" in on several scenes. I laughed.

I was more amused than I should've been by the bit at the end, when Tsuzuki says "Those who live in darkness wander aimlessly" and they added "Because they can't see". I am way too easily entertained.

Most fun fact: Hisoka's English voice actor being on "Revolutionary Girl Utena" - and having Tsuzuki's voice actor on the same show playing his character's sexually ambiguous partner.

They need to start looking for roles with more variety, I think.

I know! It's very amusing and some of the facts are really helpful, actually.

I remember when I put on the dub for a few seconds, I was hit by the fact that Tsuzuki's VA is the same guy who plays Yami on the Yu-Gi-Oh! dub, which was very traumatic. As dubs go, though, the Descendants of Darkness one isn't very good.

I have to admit, Hisoka's VA was very good, but every time Tsuzuki opened his mouth, I twitched. But the Gushoushin sounded like chain-smoking bad guys rather that the ultra-polite, sometimes-grouchy librarians they are! And, uh, Muraki's VA nearly made me cry, as he sounded like the stereotypical, mad scientist in cartoons.

Uh... I'm just very critical of dubs, I guess. ^^;

(Although, on that topic, Revolutionary Girl Utena and Wolf's Rain are two dubs that I've flicked through that I admit aren't bad. They're decent, even. :)

Yes... watched it, loved it. I was debating commenting about the 'fun facts' on your original post about getting the DVDs, but I couldn't remember which disc this bonus was on. ^___^ It's great when anime has extras like this... makes it so much more fun.
