I'm home! Finally! Damnit, I am glad to be out of the car. My parents did come back with us, so Jessica and Dad drove in one car, and me and Mom drove in another. It was okay, but it got annoying after seven hours.

In any case, I am home now and all is well.

I didn't get sick after all - beat the odds, it seems. Everyone in that house was sick except for me. I don't know how I managed to survive.

And now watch me get sick tomorrow or something. That'd be kind of ironic.

I forgot to mention in my earlier post that my 14-year-old cousin, Brett, is doing voice acting for anime. So far he's only done bit parts, but recently he was reading for a character called Kaoru from Flame of Recca. I might just have to try and get my hands on that when it gets to whatever episode he's in.

Anyone familiar with Flame of Recca? Know what episode Kaoru shows up in?

Anyway, I'm glad to be home. It was especially nice to see the pets again. And I hope now to go out and do something since I spent the day sitting in a car.

We'll see what happens.

Yay, for not getting sick!

Kaoru first appears in episode five.

He's in 5, 9, 25, and 26, at least... not sure about later on (there's 42 episodes). I was only briefly interested in FoR about 4 years ago, as it was being compared to YYH. Maybe somebody else knows more.

I'm really curious about whether or not Brett is any good... Of course, he's only 14, and just getting started - hopefully people will go easy on him if he's not *great*.

Koganei Kaoru is one of the main characters in FoR X33 I haven't watched it in awhile but he shows up a lot near the end of the anime (since he fights in the tournament that makes up more than 1/3 of the anime). XD Wow tis cool your cousin's doing his voice.

I hope he does a good job. I know he's nervous about what people will think of his performance. He seemed pretty enthusiastic about it, though.

Well Kaoru is a big role and he's one of the fan favourites so there's bound to be expectations, but I'm sure he'll do a good job~ ^___^ Now I actually have reason to watch the dub.

If you get your hands on it before I do, I'd like to hear how it is. :) Don't pull any punches - and if you've got some tips for Brett, I'll try and pass those along as well.
