Unless the person writing the story is into necrophilia, in which case it's okay.
Um, you've seen the Yohji necrophilia fic, right? New dimensions in disturbing.
Someone I knew from SVAM once said, "Heero and Relena would be a great couple, because they're both insane. Just in different ways."
So, trying to kill someone = love? Well, God knows I've seen that in fanfics for other fandoms before. (WeissXSchwarz fic, anyone?)
