Why don't more people write Ken and Omi fanfiction? Is it too much to ask to have something to read? Darn it all!
Oh well... gives me more chance to use my imagination. And, I have to wonder if it might be the lack of fanfiction that actually kept me in the fandom for so long. After all, that means I'm a major contributor. I feel like I have to write KenxOmi fanfiction because there is so little of it. Just to show my support for that most excellent couple.
Hmm... now that's a real possibility. I remember when I was into Gundam Wing, that turned out to be my shortest obsession of all - and there was a ton of fanfiction available. Digimon 02 was longer - and there was less fanfiction. Now Weiss has even less, since my couple isn't everyone's favorite, and I've lasted longer than I did with any obsession I've had yet.

Actually, Omi and Ken have also been the oldest two characters I've slashed off. I mean, I generally make the characters older in my fanfics, because otherwise I can't see it, but still... Shigeru and Satoshi were only ten or eleven on the show. Quatre and Trowa were fifteen (or sixteen, we don't really know Trowa's age). Daisuke and Ken I. were twelve. Now, Ken H. is eighteen or nineteen and Omi is seventeen.
I guess maybe it's because I don't really have to imagine what they'd look like older. It's right there. And Ken is so fine... mmm, yeah. Omi is the kind of boy that belongs with other boys. He's pretty to look at, but... come on, be honest. He's got 'uke' written all over him!
Then again, that's what makes 'Omi as seme' fics good... it seems so unlikely. I've only read a couple of those, because, like I said, Omi's the obvious uke, so there aren't that many out there.
I always write Omi as the uke, so I have no right to complain about that - and I'm not. It's good to read, though. Ehehe... but he's so cute and innocent...
Let me steal a line from the Simpsons: 'No one ever suspects the butterfly. Mwahahaha!'
That had very little relevence, and I just compared Omi to a butterfly. Hmmm...
Oh well.
Hehe... Ken in spandex shorts... I will never get over that, even though the most interesting part is covered up by the sporty boxers he has over them.
I wonder if that's really what his underclothing looks like...
Maybe one day I will write a fic where Omi totally tops Ken, just because. And we'll see what people have to say.
