Ehe... as if I haven't already ordered enough anime...

I just found a series call Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne - I read the first two volumes of the manga, and it's fantastic! So shoujo, so magical girl, so pretty... It's like a more grown up version of Saint Tail with a more exciting heroine and love interest. I'm so hooked!

The manga was licensed, so I might just decide to buy it at some point because it really is very good. I downloaded part of the anime series and I'm going to give it a try as well. If I like it as much as I like the manga, then I'll probably buy some burned DVDs (since the anime is not licensed).

Yay for new series!

... yay for spending more money...

Oh well, not like I can't afford it. And it's less expensive because there's no pretty box set that I can buy (although that kind of makes me sad). I might actually decide to hold out and wait to see if it's licensed. It's not like it's an inconvenience to watch it on my computer, after all.

Also, I really like Jeanne's costume... I'm thinking about trying to make it once I get my sewing machine (I'm about 99.9% sure that my parents got me one for Christmas). Cody's already agreed to dress up as her love interest if I want to do it.

I'm not sure if I can pull it off, but it might be fun to try!

I love KKJ! I tried the anime, but I think the manga looks much better. Tanemura is a great artist, and the amount of detail she puts into the work just isn't captured that well in the animation. I think that CLAMP's the same way, actually. /tangent

Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne is excellent. The anime has its fillers like any other anime, and the manga is awesome...

Although it may be licensed, I've never seen it at my local anime/manga store, though. I watched/read it all online.

I finished the Jeanne manga while flying to Norway! It's definitely a worthy series. I don't think the anime is licensed, so it'll be easy to find for download.
