Reread/Rewatch Meme

What 5 series/books/movies can you rewatch/reread time and again?


1. David Eddings books - Belgariad/Mallorean, Elenium/Tamuli, Redemption of Althalus - Whenever I have nothing new to read, I go through a cycle of these books. If I get a new book, I put down whatever Eddings book I'm on, finish the new one, and then pick the Eddings back up again. The cycle never finishes.

2. Card Captor Sakura - I don't know what it is about this series. Every time I rewatch it, I love it all over again. It really just has that something to it.

3. Lord of the Rings (movies) - Just... yeah. Yeah.

4. Digimon - Just need to watch it to get back into it, even if only for a short while. This applies mainly to seasons one and two, but also kind of to season three.

5. Spirited Away - I've seen it so many times now and it just doesn't get old.

I keep wanting to get a hold of the original CCS, but I can never get around to it for some reason. I do remember seeing clips that made me squeal over how cute it was, though.

It is adorable. :) I highly recommend it. CCS is one of those series that makes you feel happy just to watch it. And I like the anime better than the manga. It's longer, and it has Mei Ling! I like Mei Ling. But the manga is good too - it'll tell you the same basic story.

Really? I liked the manga better than the anime. I thought at the time it made more sense than the anime. I just thought earlier today I should reread it. :)

re: Belgariad/Mallorean: I wish I had them. I only have the Polgara {or however you say it} and Belgarath -- translated. They're 'trash' and translated, but I keep rereading them. They make me laugh.

The manga seems too short to me. Maybe it's because I watched the anime first. I also like that the anime starts at the beginning when Sakura finds the book. The manga starts when she's already in the middle of the action. I found it a little jarring. But I do like both, very much. I like the different endings. :)

My copies of the Belgariad/Mallorean are getting very worn. It might be about time to replace them with newer copies.

I'm sorry you can't get them! :( It's a very good series.

I know it is, I got them from the library when I was little{r}. I have them on my computer, but I have a very short attention span to written stories lately.

Ah, I started with the anime, then went ahead with the manga, then continued with the anime. The anime's ending made me go all 'huh?'.
