A huge thank you to everyone who recced me some good anime series yesterday in response to my post! If you can think of more you want to pimp at me, please feel free to let me know. I promise I'll watch at least the first episode.

So far, here is what all I have on my list:

I've watched the first episodes for Seirei no Moribito and Tantei Gakuen Q so far... and I intend to try the others as well, but I was highly impressed with those two and do plan to continue with them.

If I wasn't at work right now, I'd already be going through more of these - I'm looking forward to them all! We'll see how many I end up following all the way through.

I definitely second Baccano! and, given your willingness to try new things, enthusiastically suggest Eyeshield 21. Yes, it's shounen anime about football, but it's also adorable and hilarious and worth watching at least a bit of. :D

:D I forgot about Ayatsuri Sakon. Liked it, though I think the show ended before the creators had explored all the concept's potential.

XD I've got a half-baked idea for an Ayatsuri Sakon / Yami no Matsuei crossover fic. The male lead's puppet-using and nose for detective work just screams for Muraki to poke his nose in and do something evil and for Tsuzuki and Hisoka to be put on the case.

(Also, were you the person lamenting the lack of transformation sequences for magical boys? Somebody was. *can't remember* Kami-chama Karin's first episode (or is it the second?) has a magicalboy!transformation. Unfortunately, that's the last it's ever seen of in the series.)

Haha, yes, that was me. XD I might have to check that out just for the transformation sequence. Because it really is a crime that there's not more magical boy transformations.

I don't know enough yet about Ayatsuri Sakon to imagine what that kind of crossover fic would be like, but it could be fun to explore. ^^

I can't remember if you've watched Full Moon o Sagashite. If not, highly recommended {even through the saccharine first episodes}.

I've read the manga. The story was cute, but I didn't get heavily attached and really have no interest in seeing the animated version. XD

I watched the anime, and it's one of my top 3 along with HikaGo and Princess Tutu. :) Haven't touched the manga, though. {D'you know where I can get it? :3}

I actually read it because the mangaka is the same one who did Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne (I hated the anime for that series, but the manga is much much love). But it didn't grab me the same way. Maybe because I didn't care much about the main character, somehow. Not sure why that was.

My top anime list is always changing. XD I did a 'Top Five Showdown' a little while ago, but I'm not even sure if those are my top five any more. Heh.
