I got some work done on my Christmas fic! Finally! It's coming along pretty good, I think. Youji is way too overconfident about his gift for Aya. Hehe... but that's okay, because he's going to get shot down about it later in the fic. Mwahahaha! Ken's insecurities are kinda fun to play with, especially since his gift is going to be just about perfect for Omi. I mean, come on, he made it himself. How could it not be perfect?
Now to figure out a way to keep Aya in character while giving everyone in the fic a sappy ending.
Eh, shouldn't be too hard. Aya has his moments, after all.
After I'm done with the Christmas fic, I'll get to work on the New Years fic. Hehe... that one is going to be sappy, too. Even though it involves a lemon scene in the... ummm, not going to give that away just yet. You'll see. Youji and Aya have a bit part, but that one is going to be pretty much just about Ken and Omi.
I've been watching a lot of Card Captor Sakura lately, and I think I might write a fanfic for it. But, I'd have to add it to the list of stuff I've got planned, so I'd work on it in its proper order. I'll have to think about this after I've got the Christmas and New Years fics finished, since they're first priority, but I might try to get more work done on When in Rome and Seeds of Love before I start up any new ones. If nothing else, I'd like to finally polish off part eight of When in Rome.
The Card Captor Sakura one would be an AU somewhat similar to my Digimon fic 'Believe It or Not' - just in that aspects of it come from "The Hunter's Moon". I'm stealing aspects from "Faerie Tale" by Raymond E. Feist, too, though. And the plot is WAY different. I'd like to try and split it between Syaoran/Sakura and Touya/Yukito. I have fantastic ideas for both couples, and a dazed Yuki is just going to be too much fun to play with. Plus, I get to invent new power-y things. And that's just fun.
Anyway, we'll see if my enthusiasm for this lasts until after I've finished my seasonal fics. I definitely want to write the angel fic and the fantasy fic for Weiss Kreuz right now, too. So... again, we'll see.
