Well. The vet visit is over. It went well. Quiz is very calm in the carrier, and was totally into exploring the vet room. The shot didn't even seem to cause much distress. The initial vaccination and de-worming is done, and I learned something rather important.

Quiz is not a girl. Quiz is a boy.

... well, okay then.

Neutering is less expensive than spaying, so... yay? Haha!

A friend of mine took her female cat in to be spayed and the vet informed her that her female cat was in fact a hermaphrodite and had one testicle. This lead to many, many comments of "The cat has more balls than you!" when us (all girls) would get together to play video games.

Wow. I bet that was a shock. :D I've always had male and female cats in pairs, but I always seem to bond with the boy kitty just a wee bit more. Girls, in my limited experience tend to be snootier and more prissy. Cats are wonderful, either way.
