Well. The vet visit is over. It went well. Quiz is very calm in the carrier, and was totally into exploring the vet room. The shot didn't even seem to cause much distress. The initial vaccination and de-worming is done, and I learned something rather important.
Quiz is not a girl. Quiz is a boy.
... well, okay then.
Neutering is less expensive than spaying, so... yay? Haha!

A friend of mine took her female cat in to be spayed and the vet informed her that her female cat was in fact a hermaphrodite and had one testicle. This lead to many, many comments of "The cat has more balls than you!" when us (all girls) would get together to play video games.

Quiz started acting really sluggish, standoffish, and uninterested in everything about an hour after we brought him home yesterday. He's still like that today, and doesn't even like us petting him.
I think that maybe his sex-change operation didn't agree with him. XD
That or he's still mad that we trimmed his claws.

I think that most female cats are a little more standoffish and/or shy than the males, but there are exceptions. Either way, a kitty is a kitty. They are all unique and wonderful.
