Wolfram and the pouty look... hehe... I went looking for screenshots of Kyou Kara Maou and saved a bunch that I thought were cool or cute. When I saw this one, the idea for the icon just kind of grabbed me. I've used it a few times, so it turned out to be a pretty good idea.

Believe it or not, this one was actually not totally my idea. I got a couple of friends into Hunter X Hunter and when we were watching the opening, one commented, "He's stripping!" Thus, the icon idea was born.

I like the peaceful feeling in this picture. It's definitely not representative of the series, but it was cool to see Leorio and Kurapika just sitting around reading. It made me think of a 'lazy Sunday', but who wants to use an icon only on Sunday. So, 'lazy days' replaced it.

HAH! 'Sparkle' seems completely random, doesn't it? At the time, I wanted to have an icon of each Uninhabited Planet Survive character with a single word. The only reason I chose 'sparkle' for Kaoru is because during this scene in the opening song, his hair flings up and you see little sparkly sweat drops fly out. It was just so absurdly pretty that I put it on an icon.

Well, I had a pretty Laccus icon (Shimmer) and wanted a pretty Cagalli one, too. I thought 'Shift' was a good choice for her character, since she has to shift her point of view and even her place in life a few times throughout the course of the series.

I couldn't resist. Come on, everyone was thinking it! I just put it in icon form.
