No class this morning. Hehe... I have only one class today, and it ends an hour before I go to work. So that's not too bad. I don't mind working tonight, because the reason Tanya asked me to cover her shift is so she can go and see 'The Two Towers'. Everyone should see that movie.

V and I have already made plans to see it again on Friday. Then the week of school will be over.

Yay!

Heh, I've just started and I'm already looking forward to the weekend. That's school for you...

V and I went for pizza last night after we both had late classes. It was fun, but we were both tired. We've decided that the elves walk around in minimal clothing whenever they feel like it. Somehow, I can't see an elf being overly modest. It's just... whatever. 'I'm perfect, and I know it. Now stare at me in envy.' Hehe.

Don't ask where these things come from. This one started with a discussion of Arwen's clothing, and turned into Legolas strolling around naked.

Anyone else notice that Dominic Monaghan is hot? I mean, when I'm watching the movie, he's a hobbit. And hobbits are just... well, cute. But you see him off-screen, and it's like 'Mmm, hey there.'

Did I mention I've been reading LOTR fanfiction? I am. There's no Weiss stuff any more, and I needed something to read. 'Sides, it's good stuff. V's still trying to talk me into reading Aragorn/Boromir. I've been resisting. I still like Arwen. I would not like to hate her.

I'm mostly reading Merry/Pippin stuff. It's just cute. But I like cute, so it's all good.

I still wish there were more KenxOmi fanfics, though... I miss Ken and Omi.

Okay, I can see wanting to keep the Aragorn and Arwen romance intact (even though it's not official book canon), BUT . . . you have to admit that the Boromir death scene was the Slashiest Death Scene Ever Bar None. It even had Qui Gon's death scene beat. I mean, did Aragorn *have* to kiss his fingers? That looked *highly* suspicious.

By "official book canon," I mean it's not in Tolkien's original novels. The writers for the movies came up with it in order to have a (heterosexual) love story and boost the appeal of the movies to women. (Well, women who aren't into yaoi/slash, anyway). Arwen's part in the original books is actually very small
