Stupid work. They want us to do *more* cleaning, plus our old stuff. Hah! Tanya said just to do everything really fast, then try and get some of the new stuff done. If they complain, well, there's not much we can do if we don't have time to do it. All we can do is try our best.
Anyway, I don't mind because I think I'd like to contemplate rather than write. I have until March 9 to finish that contest fic, and I've already got the end written. I wrote the beginning, but I'm not sure how good it is. I may just change it - but I'd like to see if I can get somebody to read it for me and give me some constructive criticism. Problem: not many people I know have seen Orphen. And V hates it.

Well, I'll think of something. I think I'm going to spend a lot of time editing this one, simply because it's my first Orphen fic - and it's being entered in a contest, too. So I'd like it to be good.
Orphen's such a fun series. The subtitled version is ten times better than the dub, I've decided. The dub just doesn't get the characters quite right. They make Majic a little too disrespectful. In the original he's so... in awe of Orphen. In the dub, he's just the slightest bit sarcastic. They didn't do too bad a job with Orphen, though. Cleao goes from an innocent annoyance to a loud-mouthed nag. Not much of a change, but her dubbed voice gets on my nerves even more than her Japanese voice.
My opinion holds: subtitles are *always* better than dubs.
Well, I'm off to spend my morning cleaning off a clothing conveyer. Hooray. I'm still taking a 15-minute break for lunch, though. I get hungry in the mornings.
