I have the rest of my exam today. Yesterday's half didn't go TOO badly... at least, I don't think so. But I'm not really sure. Eck.
Still two episodes of Fruits Basket to watch that won't be on my DVDs. And I like this song. Actually, I like most of the background music for FB. I'm still searching for that song that plays when Yuki and Kyou are conflicting. It sounds like a jungle beat or something; I really like it.
Anyway, yeah.
Didn't get a chance to expand on the fic I made some notes on a little while ago. I'd really like to write it, though. I'll have to finish Off Limits and my contest fic and get to work on some serious series ficcing.
I should make a schedule. Supposedly that works well. I've never tried it, so I have no idea. Fics that I plan to have scheduled as of now: When in Rome, Seeds of Love, Dragon of Twilight (my Orphen fic), and this new one that doesn't have a name yet.
Maybe I can accomplish something over reading break while I'm putting off working on my assignment.

Schedules
In terms of actually blocking out time to write, it's a nice idea, if you have the time to spare. My husband goes fencing practice every Tuesday and Thursday evening, so those are generally my ficcing times, along with Sunday nights, since I'm usually feeling pretty antisocial by that point in the weekend. ^_^;; Sometimes random things poke at me and make me write them outside of those time frames (TTTD has been particularly guilty), but balancing work, ficcing, and real life can be a challenge.
Do whatever works for you. Your audience can wait (very eagerly, in many of our cases ^_^) for what you write, so don't feel pressured to adhere to a schedule unless you really want one.
blah... I really ramble when I'm tired...
Re: Schedules
The reason I think the schedule thing might work is that I find I write more while I'm at school or work. At work, sometimes it'll be a really slow day and I'll have a half-hour or an hour to sit there and write (occassionally interrupted by customers). At school, I'll write before class starts, or between classes, or even (when the teacher's rehashing something I already know by heart) during class. I get a surprising amount done, most likely because I just have nothing else to do.
That's probably the reason I think the schedule MIGHT work. If I just bring one story to work or to school, I'll have to work on that story.
In theory, anyway. ^^;;
Of course, I won't stick to the schedule *exactly*, because every now and then (usually before bed) I'll be struck by a brilliant piece of inspiration for something that's going to happen in some fic or another - and then I have to write it down right away, or I forget it completely.
So... I don't know if I can handle the schedule, but it doesn't hurt to try. ^_^
