Getting Started

Bah... like I have something to put in a journal that would be of any interest. Oh well. Hmm... yeah. I watched episode 3 of Magic Knight Rayearth last night. That's a pretty cool show, even though I doubt it'll ever reach obsession level. But it's epic fantasy! How can that not be cool? Well, I'm sure there's a way, but whatever. I'm more interested in Angelic Layer, of which I've only seen one episode. The second episode is being stubborn and not downloading. But I doubt I'll ever be obsessed with that one either, so it probably isn't a big deal.

My kitten is being cute - this time it's because she's asleep, not because she's trying to get my attention just to prove she can. Cats are so mean. They know we love them, and torment us with that. Eh... whatever.

I really need to work on my fanfic. Problems with that... I'm still feeling guilty over about the five or so others I haven't finished yet. Ehehe... And I want to start a new one, even though I'm only halfway done the one I'm working on. But I'd better not, or it'll never get finished.

Oi, I really can use this journal. I need it to to rant about stuff. Eck. I'm so lost to the real world it's not even funny. My sisters are driving me crazy. I don't even care that they're two years younger and leaving the house before I am - I just want them out of here! My room needs a lock for the door.

Well, since this is a journal, I can go on about what's happening in my life. No work until Sunday. Sweet! But then I work a Monday shift as well, and those always suck. Oh well. I hung out with my favorite group of friends in the whole wide world last night. Hmm... since this journal is likely to feature them quite frequently, I should mention who they are. Venessa is my politics-obsessed friend. She's going to school in the summer! Crazy! Johanna is a DBZ fan, and one of my best anime buddies. Jen's got to be the sweetest girl I know, and a huge yaoi fan - like me! Since we live the closest to each other, V (Venessa) and I hang out the most. It works out okay, because I can put up with the political talk if she can handle anime babble. We have the most interesting conversations sometimes - it's great.

Another one of my best friends is Sarah, but she doesn't hang out with us. Sarah's a Slayers fan, and she lives farther away from me, so I don't see her as often. It's always fun when we do - our conversations get so weird. When we went to school together, we even read the same type of books and swapped stories. Making up parodies is something I practiced and perfected with her.

Anyway, enough of that. Last night was the first time I'd hung out with Jen in a while, so that was cool. She and Jo (Johanna) didn't stay too long, but it's the first time in a long time that the four of us hung out together. It was fun. It was absolutely gorgeous out, too, so V and I took a walk. This city is so incredibly boring. Ah well. The conversations are always interesting.

I think that's about all. This is getting way too long. I can always have more entries later, huh? Next time I'll need more anime. There was a serious lack of it in this entry.
