I decided to watch Digimon this afternoon just in case it was a season one episode that I don't have on tape yet. It wasn't season one, though - it was season four.

I hadn't seen the dub for Digimon Frontier yet. Actually, I'd only seen episode one of the subtitle. About all I'd conceded was that Takuya was a cutie - but he's one of the goggle boys, so that was a foregone conclusion.

All the English music is different! What happened? Did they get sick of 'Di-gi-mon! Digital Monsters! Digimon are the champions!' I'm not sure it's an improvement... the new opening sounds kinda like some tropical theme.

The dub voices are better than the japanese, and I'm amazed that they left two whole names intact. I'm surprised they didn't make Takuya into 'Terrance' or something. And I expected "Zoey" to have an annoying dub voice, but she didn't.

Other than that... Tommy's hat bothers me. He needs to get rid of it.

I haven't decided if I like this new season yet, but it's better than season three.

Apparently they changed the music because it wasn't Saban doing it anymore and therefore they needed new music (not that I've seen it!) I like the new music though...

And yes, the hat is EVIL. *shudders*

Oh, hell yeah, I want to destroy that hat. >_< Even more than I wanted to destroy Takeru's hat.

That's interesting that Saban isn't doing Digimon anymore... But hey, I think it's an improvement. The music is better, if nothing else.

You know, Michael Reisz is listed in the credits - that's Matt's English VA, isn't it? Just listening to the voices, I have this sneaking suspicion that he's the one doing Takuya's voice. Can't be sure, though.

"Hat Wars II - Frontier version! Guest starring wit the many crappy hats and outfits of Jason Isaacs!"

And yes, Michael Reisz does Matt's voice. *drool* And I think someone told me he was going Takuya. Which upset me. THE TRAUMA!

Awwwwww, what's so traumatic? Takuya is an awesome character. ^_^ He has a different voice than Matt had, but you can sorta tell it's the same guy voicing them. I think it's kind of amusing that the last character Michael Reisz played was the loner boy, and now he's doing the goggle boy.

He's done both halves of the generic couple. ^_~

Yes, he might be an awesome character but he shouldn't have Matt's voice! That's just all wrong, WRONG I tell you.

But yes, doing two halves of a geneic couple IS funny!

Actually, his voice doesn't sound a lot like Matt's - there are just hints of it every now and then. ^_^ I think it suits Takuya pretty well.

And, I wish *I* could voice two halves of a generic couple. ^^;; Of course, since I'm female, that's very unlikely...

I expect it does. WANT TO WATCH FRONTIER DAMMIT! *kicks CITV who have barely even started Tamers*

Awwww... *pats* It's okay. I actually didn't know that they'd started playing Frontier here. Digimon's not on very often any more.

I hope it starts soon over there. Tamers is so boring. >_

Is Tamers bad? My friend says it's utterly brilliant. I've only seen three episodes making juding a bit tricky. ^_~

No, Tamers isn't bad at all. ^_^ I just had trouble getting into it - probably mostly because I missed the other characters. I didn't finish watching the series.

I like Frontier because of its goggle boy. Takato wasn't really as interesting as the others, I thought.

That's entirely a personal preference, though - nothing intended against Tamers.

Oh, okay then! Of course, it's probably immaterial because CITV are showing no signs of EVER showing any more.......................

I'm sorry. -_- That really sucks. I hope they start airing it again... I'd hate for you to miss out on anything.

Well, they might. One day. You can never tell with CITV. Just when you have given up all hope...........

Definetely keep hoping! Hope, hope, hope! (they need to show something good, they've been consistantly crap for AGES!)
