You've no idea how glad I am that I have three days off now. Freedom! Yes!!! And I think I deserve it.
When I came in yesterday, some lady had actually shit on our public bathroom floor. Literally. It stunk like hell, and guess who got to mop it up and scrub the side of the toilet down?
That has to qualify as one of the grossest things I've ever done at McCleaner's, and that's saying quite a bit.
But it's over now.
I got started on the third part of Simple and Complicated yesterday - and I plan to work more on it today. Once that fic is finished, I am going to start on the AU. I was thinking about that last night after I went to bed, and had to turn on the light three or four times to write down little snippets of inspiration.
It's great. I love being inspired.
Heh... I am terribly happy this morning. And the weather is beautiful... it just looks like it's going to be a fantastic day.

Unpleasant memories of handling bedpans as a candy striper . . . BLEH.

I seriously felt like getting sick... but I have a pretty strong stomach; I don't get sick that often. So it's lucky for them that I was the one working the afternoon shift that day, I guess.
Ugh... I wouldn't want to handle bedpans either, though. >_< Unpleasant jobs...
But someone has to do them, I suppose.
