Digimon: The Movie and Season Two
Someone on LJ mentioned to me that they thought the original version of the third Digimon movie was even more confusing than the dub. I couldn't answer some of your questions, but I found a site that might help a bit. Hehe...
Anyway, if you want a fairly accurate summary of the differences between the dubbed movie and the original first three movies, check out this page.
I was bored at work today, and decided I wanted to do a brief, humorous summary of the (mostly in my head) romantic subplot of Digimon season two. So... anyone who's interested in that sort of thing, go ahead and check it out.
Digimon 02: The romantic subplot
Daisuke: I love Hikari! ^_____^
Hikari: *yawn*
Takeru: *shows up* I'm blond and blue-eyed! Love me!
Hikari: *___* Okay!
Miyako: I fall in love with everything that lives and breathes! Except Daisuke. He doesn't count.
Iori: I'm not old enough for any of this. Besides, I only love my kendo training. *plays with sticks*
Ken: *in Kaizer gear* Hi there. I'm the personification of a pretty-boy BDSM wet dream. Complete with whip, and ready to chain other pretty boys to cliffs and make them get down on their knees for the purpose of fueling squealing fangirl fantasies. Anyone want to jump me so we can fall down a cliff together?
Daisuke: I will! But I still love Hikari.
Miyako: I love Ken... wait! Mimi! I love Mimi... wait! Michael! I love Michael... wait! (etc)
Daisuke: I love Hikari! Stupid Takeru... Oh, and I hate Ken! He's evil and bad! I'll never forgive him!
Ken: *still looking drop-dead gorgeous* I'm good now.
Daisuke: I forgive you! Let's have an incredibly slashy jogress scene together! But I still love Hikari.
Takeru: I love Hikari too.
Every male on the show who's around that age: Me too!
Miyako: Me too! ^___^ But I also love Ken.
Every female on the show who's around that age: Me too!
Fangirls who aren't even on the show: Me too!
Ken: ... how nice. *eyes Daisuke*
Daisuke: I love Hikari. *ravishes Ken*
Miyako: Oh well... I love Hikari then.
Hikari and Takeru: *by this point are living in a halo of holy light with angels playing harps floating about in peace and harmony*
Miyako: Oh FINE then... I'll take Wallace.
Wallace: But I'm only in the third movie, and it's not in the same timeline as - *is hogtied and dragged off*
Iori: ... okay...
