(no subject)

I woke up this morning with a sore back... Not good, for a day when I have belly dance practice and then a show right after.

Oh well... I'll survive, I guess.

Yesterday was an extremely boring day. I couldn't seem to get into anything I was doing. I did get a bit of writing done early on, but then I just didn't feel like continuing with it. And there was nothing to read online... and I didn't feel like watching anything...

I did finish Watership Down, though. Hooray! It was a good book.

I am re-reading 'Over Sea, Under Stone'. I also managed to find 'Greenwitch' and 'The Grey King' at Value Village, so now I have all five books in the series.

Excellent.

I'm also in despair of getting the DVD/VCD with episode 60 of Hikaru no Go on it... The only chance is if I get it today; otherwise, I guess I won't have it to watch with Jer tonight.

I seriously doubt it'll come today, though. Disappointing...

Oh well. That's life.

You have the episode downloaded, right? If you use TMPGEncoder (http://www.tmpgenc.net/e_download.html) to turn the .avi into an mpeg-1 file, and then use a program like VCDEasy (http://www.vcdeasy.org/modules.php?name=_Downloads) to make a VCD with that file, you'll get a functional VCD that ought to play in your DVD player. It's a little complicated seeming at first glance, but once you figure out the programs (both of which are extremely easy to use), it's just a matter of waiting - assuming the mpeg-1 conversation goes right on TMPGEnc, since every once in a while I have a problem with that. But if you're willing to try making it on your own and you have questions, let me know - I've done this countless times successfully. ^_^

Well, I got your email and hopefully replied in time for you to try again. Let me know if you get the sound to work!
