I woke up this morning with a sore back... Not good, for a day when I have belly dance practice and then a show right after.

Oh well... I'll survive, I guess.

Yesterday was an extremely boring day. I couldn't seem to get into anything I was doing. I did get a bit of writing done early on, but then I just didn't feel like continuing with it. And there was nothing to read online... and I didn't feel like watching anything...

I did finish Watership Down, though. Hooray! It was a good book.

I am re-reading 'Over Sea, Under Stone'. I also managed to find 'Greenwitch' and 'The Grey King' at Value Village, so now I have all five books in the series.

Excellent.

I'm also in despair of getting the DVD/VCD with episode 60 of Hikaru no Go on it... The only chance is if I get it today; otherwise, I guess I won't have it to watch with Jer tonight.

I seriously doubt it'll come today, though. Disappointing...

Oh well. That's life.

Oh, belive me, I've tried those before! It converts all right, but my computer won't let me make VCDs for some reason. >_< Isn't that weird? I can't seem to get it to work for me...

I can't remember what the error was... I might try it again and see what it says.

I got the sound to work! Um, well, on the Digimon episode I was working with works perfectly. Hikaru no Go has a slight problem because VirtualDub says that there's an "improper VBR audio encoding in the source AVI file" and it has to "rewrite the audio header with standard CBR values during processing for better compatibility". This means it's skewed from the video, so the sound is WAY off.

It says "if this is unacceptable, decompress the *entire* audio to a WAV file" (which I've done) "and recompress with a constant bitrate encoder".

No idea what that means. ^_^;;;;; I guess HikaGo will have to wait until I figure that out. But everything else works - thank you!
