Last Airbender movie - again

Okay. This TV spot makes me feel slightly better about the Last Airbender movie.

I still dislike Sokka's and Katara's actors and continue to be pessimistic about the movie's chances of success. I don't like the race-fail either. But the end scene of this trailer at least felt a little like the original show.

And Momo looks okay!

Sucks, doesn't it? I'd rather not have an ATLA movie at all than have this one though.

You might be right... but I'm worried about lack of support for the movie being interpreted as lack of support for the series in general.

Money talks, but it doesn't always say what we want it to. I'm afraid that boycotting the movie will not say, "racism is NOT okay", but rather, "this franchise is not worth putting more money or effort into".
