Secondly, I have to apologize, because I finished absolutely nothing last night, so I have no present to give you... But! I'll give you something later! I promise! It'll just be a late birthday present!

Yesterday, I once again became aware of why I don't write lemons very often. Blech.

Aside from that, not much happened, except for when I got into a very interesting discussion with V about fandoms. The bigger they get, the more divided they become. The biggest fandom I've been into was Gundam Wing, and the amount of division was insane. There were divisions even within *pairings*, over seme/uke issues, whether or not one character was a rape victim... blah blah blah. You'd think they'd band together since they all enjoy this same thing, but noooooo.

On the other hand, the most tolerant fandom I've come across is probably Fruits Basket. Even the yaoi and het fans seem to get along well. Of course, I just scratched on the surface of that one, so I don't know anything for sure...

Ultimately, I think it's these divisions that bring about the destruction of said fandoms. It certainly seems to turn people off from being involved, and members slowly drift away. So in the end they collapse.

What a crazy world.

If I were to ever finish any original work and it were somehow good enough to get published, I'd encourage fanfiction. I'd also write it myself under a fake name. Heh. Yeah, I know, I'm a loser, but I enjoy it.
