Yeeks. You must like putting me on the spot. :P This will probably be wildly OOC, but here we go. (Also, I don't think you have to do 20)

"Can I help you?" Mai leaned against the doorframe, raising an eyebrow. She was dressed in a simple silk robe, and it was clear she'd not been out of bed for much longer than it had taken to do her hair.

Aang blinked, taken aback. "Oh... sorry. Someone told me this was Zuko's room. I must've misheard. Or something. Anyway, sorry to bother you!"

"This is Zuko's room." She yawned, seemingly unperturbed by the conversation. "He's not here right now. Should I give him a message?"

"But... if it's Zuko's room... and you're here..." Blazing heat was spreading across Aang's face; he took an unconscious step back, suddenly unable to meet her eyes. "I'll - I'll talk to him later! Sorry! Goodbye!"

He turned and made a hasty retreat back down the hallway, but couldn't block the sound of Mai's amused snort from his ears.

I'm sorry! That turned into Zuko/Mai implications! Is that against the rules?

And I don't know if the Zuko/Mai is againts the rules but I really don't mind, I like Maiko too. :D

And I don't think it's wildly OOC at all, I just kind of wanted fic with them interacting on some level since we don't see much of it on the show. Or in fic.

And yes, I like putting people on the spot. That's when people shine. A masocistic part of me almost wants someone to make me do Zutara or a Jet ship just to see what I'd do. HAH!

I am doing the other request I have first technically but I plan to do your kataang request ASAP!
